From the 12 teams that saw action since April, only four teams will advance to the semifinals as the Guadalupe Athletic Association (GAA) 7th Founder's Cup basketball tournament holds a knockout today at the Guadalupe Sports Complex.
Group A top qualifier Rama-Bullo takes on the Fontana Drinking Water, while second seed Egypt Sportswear faces Agencia Grande.
The other knockout matches will be between Group B topseed Cebu Movers System against Aqua Serv and second seed G&S International versus Ludo-RDM.
The winners in today's pair of sudden-death encounter will advance to the semifinals next Sunday.
Rama-Bullo is banking on the tandem of former vice governor Enric Rama and Dr. Stephen Bullo, while the Cebu Movers System, mentored by Dr. Boy Te, will depend on the services of topgunner Vincent "Inting" Reyes.
