Justice Christopher "Topoy" Locke will be feted as officers and board members of the Old Warriors Inc. will be inducted into office on June 17 at the SMC 1521 Center in Mandaue City.
The organizing group of the event is led by ex-Warrior lawyer Baldomero C. Estenzo.
To be inducted are president and former team captain lawyer Danilo Deen, vice-president and four-time PBA MVP Ramon Fernandez, secretary Raul Reyes, treasurer Julian Macoy, assistant treasurer Bobby Baria and auditor Doring Cañizares.
Deen, Macoy and Cañizares were the members of the 1958 champion team who were elected as officers last January in the first Old Warriors election. It was also the time that that group's Constitution and By-Laws were ratified.
Macoy scored a CAAA (now CESAFI) record of 126 points in one game in the 1958 championship season of the USC Warriors, then mentored by the late Juan "Dodong" B. Aquino Jr.
The forming of the Old Warriors composed of players from 1958 to 1970, the championship season of USC, was a brainchild of Aquino .
