Cebu's Sheena Go rules Singapore Open bowlfest

Multi-awarded Cebuana pinbuster Sheena Go once again made waves on foreign shores by topping the girls masters event-graded division of the 39th Singapore International Bowling Open recently.

It was Go's second international abroad having won the same event during the 2nd Guam International Bowling Open in Guam three years ago.

Go ruled the Singapore event by racking up a total of 2, 379 pinfalls or an average of 198.25 pinfalls in the 12-game series.

Go's highest output was 232 in Game 10, while her lowest was 171 in the second frame.

A far second as Vietnam's Han Diem Thuy with 2, 164 pinfalls (180.33 ppg), while Singaporean Shirley Liew finished third with 2, 154 pinfalls (179.5 ppg).

RP's Lara Posadas came in fourth with 2, 135 (177.92 ppg) and Singapore's Karen Song Mei Jy fifth with 2, 058 (171.5).

An all-Singaporean cast completed the top 10 finishers. They are Lim Bee Hong (2, 056), Jessie Lim (2, 050), Angeline Teo Li Ying (1, 995), Susan Ng Soh Yong (1, 957), and Jessie Ong (1951).
