G&S, Rama-Bullo score in GAA Founder's Cup

The G&S International and Rama-Bullo teams scored contrasting wins last Friday in the Guadalupe Athletic Association (GAA) 7th Founder's Cup basketball tournament at the Guadalupe Sports Complex.

The G&S International pulled off a 75-65 upset over Fontana Drinking Water, while the Rama-Bullo led by former Cebu vice-governor Enric Rama and Dr. Stephen Bullo spilled Aqua Serv, 80-61.

G&S improved its win-loss record to 2-2, while Fontana absorbed its only second loss in five starts.

Five G&S Int'l cagers finished in double figures led by Pol Guillen and Bador Gallardo with 12 points apiece. Rene Tinapay and Jimmy Cuizon chipped in 11 points each, while Jeremo Tesorero added 10 markers.

Gil Villahermosa topscored for Fontana with 14 points, while Boy Elizalde followed with 13.

Later, Junjun Verano amassed 25 points to pace the 3-1 Rama-Bullo. Aqua Serv fell to 3-2 in the company of Agencia Grande and Fontana.

Ed Francisco and Allan Ricaña led Aqua Serv with a combined 27-point output.
