Mimi Aligado bested 123 other cue artists to win this year's Buddy Miles 9-Ball Billiards Tournament in Sitio Taytayan, this city.
Participants were divided into four groups, with the top players in each group battling each other for the crown.
Aligado advanced into the championship round by dethroning last year's title-holder Marlo Lazarte in the semifinals.
In the race-to-7, finals Aligado Lazarte gunned down Giovannie Alcontin, 7-5, to claim the crown.
