Clarence Tiu tops singles Event in CIFYA kegfest

Clarence Tiu of Team Tiu Gan emerged as the singles event champion in the 23rd Cebu Inter-Family Youth Association (CIFYA) Inter-Family Bowling Tournament at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Banilad, this city.

Tiu outsmarted Leong Tek A's Jun-jun Gothong for the top post with 1,193 pinfalls as against the latter's 1,179 pins.

Clark Tiu also of Tiu Gan added glitter to his team's bid by settling for the third place honors with1,161 pins, while Nat Go also of Leong Tek A ended fourth with 1,150 pinfalls.

The fifth to 10th placers were Leong Tek A's Docdoc Gothong (1,149), Yap Fraternity's Jake Yap(1,101), Kang Ha A's Jaime Uy(1,080), Sebastian Yap of Yap Fraternity (1,062), Kang Ha-A's Kim Ng (1,052), and Kang Ha-B's Ben Uy (1,049).

Meanwhile, the team competition will commence today and will end up until the fifth of this month.

The team event, on the other hand, will be on May 10-12, while the masters tilt will take place on the 17th.
