TCC paddlers sees action in national trials today

Cebu's top table tennis players under Team Cebu City (TCC) is eyeing to extend their dominance starting today in the National Selection at the Rizal Memorial gym in Manila.
The four-day battle will determine the composition of the RP juniors and senior team members.
TCC is sending in 12 bets with the multi-titled coach Jessica Jawad-Honoridez taking care of them.
The Cebuanos vying for an RP team slots are the Motel siblings Emmanuel, Michael and Mary Grace, Elona Dane and Dannel Day Tormis along with Jay Impuesto, Syvil Joren, Maria Christine Ba-ay, Benedict Gantuangko, Jhinno Selma, Geofrey Apas and Jennifer Jacalan.
The first two days of the event will be taking place at the Rizal Memorial gym and the next two days at SM Manila.
Honoridez is confident that her wards will be able to deliver the goods well and return to Cebu with some good news for the Cebu City government especially for the Cebu City Sports Commission and councilors Sylvan "Jack" Jakosalem and Yayoy Alcoseba, who are supporting them.
The CCSC has finally been able to extend the top Cebuano paddlers financial aid for their boat fare and meal allowances.
After the event, the Cebuanos will proceed to Naga City, Albay to join the Central Visayas delegation in the Palarong Pambansa, where they are expected to win gold medals for the team.
