Marlins debut big in Leyte skimboarding

The Cebu Blue Marlins (CBM) made an auspicious debut in the skimboarding field as they grabbed a championship title in the recently concluded Second National Skimboarding Competition at the Tanawan Shorelines in Tanawan, Leyte.
Arjun Jeminez made a rousing performance to grab the championship title in the grounet division 15-year old and under class even as teammate Odilio Hermosa grabbed the third place honors in the premier open division.
CBM coach Lando Alvarez said the group is eyeing to extend its dominance in another skimboarding competition in the Island of Siargao by third week of May.
The stint of the group in Leyte is being supported by Lynn's Purified Water, Mr. and Mrs. Nestor Baguio, Anna Lynn Cokaliong, Mrs. Wanda Cabahug and Roland dela Torre.
