Cebu table tennis players eye slot in national team

After claiming some honors in General Santos City, Cebu's top table paddlers under Crown Paddle will try to get slots in the Philippine team again when the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (TATAP) holds the National Selection on May 3-6 at the Rizal Memorial gym.
The National Selection will be featuring four categories namely the men and women's 25-under and the boys and girls' 15-under class.
Coach Jessica Jawad-Honoridez plans to bring with her again the same players, who made waves in the PNP National Invitational event plus some other potential players.
The players include two former RP juniors Emmanuel and Michael Motel along with Jay Impuesto to be fielded in the under-25 division.
The distaff side will have Mary Grace Motel, Syvil Joren and Maria Christine Baay.
In the 15-under class, there will be seven Cebuanos split in the boys and girls division.
The boy's side will have Geofrey Apas, Benedict Gantuangko, Jhino Selma and Dannel Jay Tormis.
The girls division bets will be Elona Dane Tormis, Jennifer Jacalan and Mary Angelie Motel.
