Thirsty caging opens in Bright Academy

The fifth Thirsty Hoop Jams fires off 1pm today at the Bright Academy basketball court.

This year's edition, which was changed to an inter-company format, ash attracted a total of 17 squads with Danaotel leading the cast.

The other competing teams are VECO, Alliance Software, Matimco, Nature's Spring, Sirlitz/Slimmers' World, Cebu Progress Commercial, Midtown Hotel, Pejman, Philhealth, House of Hope, Cebu Home Builders, Thirsty, Xlibris and Prulife.

The organizer of the event is Thirsty Fresh Juices and Shakes. They will be announcing the schedule of games only after the opening ceremony to ensure that all teams will be attending the opening ceremonies.

The event is expected to help create a healthy working environment among co-workers and also promote companies and products through a competitive but friendly basketball league.

The action takes place every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 to 11 pm.
