The University of San Carlos Baby Warriors fix their sights on another crown today as they take on the Cebu Institute of Technology-manned Hoop It Up in the sudden-death final of the BAP/MLSDF-organized 3rd ML Kwarta Padala Inter-School Developmental Championship at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Gym.
The USC Baby Warriors clash with Hoop It Up in the main attraction at 4:30 pm.
Before the USC-Hoop It Up collision, the University of Southern Philippines Foundation Baby Panthers of coach Camilo Go take on the Don Bosco Greywolves of coach Rudy Enterina at 3:00 pm also in a knockout match for the third place trophy.
The USC Baby Warriors of coach Rolando Remedio are the odds-on favorite going into the titular showdown as they completed a clean 5-0 sweep in the elimination round.
USC, however, should not take Hoop It Up lightly as the CIT-powered squad under the command of Marvin Felicis is aching to seek revenge of their previous setback to the Baby Warriors.
At the end of the qualifying round, CIT actually figured in a three-way tie with Don Bosco and USP on identical 3-2 win-loss records, but the Wildkittens booked the remaining final slot by virtue of a higher quotient.
