Ilak Tabura rules Tatay Dodo Dosado tennis

Topseed Fitzgerald "Ilak" Tabura made his vacation worthwhile again after beating Michael Quiñones to grab the championship crown in the 1st Tatay Dodo Dosado Memorial Tennis Cup in Poblacion, Sogod.
Tabura, clobbered Quiñones, 10-3 to run away with the championship title and the cash prize of P5,000.
Earlier in the tournament, Tabura, who is working in Dubai as tennis instructor, gave some neat lessons to RP junior squad member John Francis Largo, 10-5.
He also drubbed former top junior tennister Janji Soquiño, 10-4.
In the centennial division, Carmen Tennis Club's Goy Espina and Jun Sabang nipped Pardo Tennis Club's Eddie Sabellano and Joseph Ababon, 8-7 (75), for the title.
Espina and Sabang also got P5000 for their successful bid while Sabellano and Ababon left with P3,000 same prize as Quiñones in the open division.
Fr. Jojo Dosado, former vice-mayor Dean Dosado, barangay captain Marlon Dosado along with tournament director Fritz Tabura were all in attendance during the awarding ceremonies.
