JVC badminton registration deadline set March 30

Cebuano badminton players are given only until March 30 to register for the 206 JVC Badminton Regional Circuit, which will be held on April 3-7 at the Holiday Spa Center in Banilad.
The event features different categories including the elite, juniors, and the inter-collegiate men and women's team competition.
The elite and junior division will be competed in the singles, doubles and mixed doubles while the collegiate entries will play minus the mixed doubles.
Registration for singles entry event is P100 and P150 for two to three events.
Registration forms are available at Holiday Spa or it can be downloaded at www.jvcbadminton.com.
Players are advised to bring a copy of their birth certificates or any legal document to verify their age.
For players in the junior division, one must be born on or after January 1, 1990.
Foreign nationals can also join the action provided they have at least a year of residency here in the Philippines.
Participants must be present during the tournament meeting and draw set April 3 at 9 am also at the competition venue.

The champions in the elite and junior divisions will be representing Cebu in the JVC Open set in June while the top squads in the inter-collegiate action will advance to the final battle in the JVC Interscholastic Championship in November.
After Cebu, action shifts to Pampanga, then Davao and the last wave in Bacolod.
The JVC regional battle is sponsored by JVC along with Victor, through Pcome Industrial Sales, Lactacyd and Bingo Bonanza and backed by The STAR, Pinoy Exchange, Pioneer Life, Sunbolt, Alaska, Handford, Cebu Holiday Spa, Pohang Badminton Center, Wheel N'More Badminton Courts and Excel Badminton Center.
