Jewelry magnate and sportsman Michel Lhuillier has thrown his full support to the Cebu City Police Office-organized 2006 Inter-Station basketball tournament, which took off recently at the Camp Sotero Cabahug gym.
Lhuillier has chanelled his support through his M. Lhuillier Sports Development Foundation (MLSDF) under the supervision of its executive director Eddie Ybañez.
Ybañez, who is also the head coach of Mantawi Traders in the Mindanao Visayas Basketball Association (MVBA), said Lhuillier will shoulder all the officiating expenses in the cagefest aimed at keeping the City's policemen physically fit.
Aside from basketball, MLSDF is also actively involved in supporting other sports such as baseball, softball, and football.
Meanwhile, Ybañez is gearing up for the debut of the Mantawi Traders of Mandaue City Mayor Thadeo Ouano against Toyota-Iloilo Warriors on March 25 at the Barba Sports Complex in Toledo City.
