Patunog and Cruz dominate Lola Eat darts tiff

The tandem of Molet Patunog and GP Cruz endured to win the championship trophy in the first wave of the Lola Eat's Doubles Dart Tournament at Baseline Sports and Recreation Center, Saturday night.
Entering into the finals with a twice-to-beat advantage, Cruz and Patunog were stretched to the limit by the tandem of Patrick Young and Dick-Dick Ramirez, who managed to win the first game.
But the determined pair of Cruz and Patunog bounced back to win the title in the second match.
On the other hand, Nilo Janson and Raul de Guzman outsmarted Jerous Ponce and Jonathan Rubi to claim the third place.
There were a total of 22 pairs who joined the first wave.
The second wave will take place this Saturday still at Baseline with more darters expected to show up.
