Surban leads cast in Camotes MTB Challenge

National team member Niño Surban and the Tour Pilipinas-bound Cebuanos will be going for the top post in the 1st Mayor Al Arquillano Mountainbike Challenge today in San Francisco, Camotes.
This will be Surban's first race after the staging of the 23rd Southeast Asian Games.
Surban will be racing for Quickflight's Mountainbike team along with Albert Basirgo, Felomino Asignar, Badok Lopez and Loren Codera.
Surban and Basirgo are expected to battle out against Tour Pilipinas-bound cyclist Jovani Delica and Antonio Nebria, Robert Villaber, Nilo Barbalose, and Jaybop Pagnanawon, who will be competing in another multi-stage action in Luzon this summer.
Aside from the open class, around 150 riders are expected to compete in the other categories.
The other categories are senior, junior, veteran, master, beginners, executive and fatboys.
A total cash prize of P50,000 will be at stake.
Registration fee is pegged at P350, which will include pack lunch, t-shirt and a free transportation to Camotes.
