Gothong, San Jose rule BTA: January, February bowling tilt

Reigning Bowler of the Year awardee Junjun Gothong was January's best even as Ed San Jose came out the top bowler for February in the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA) Bowler of the Month tournament at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Banilad.

In a combined January-February final for the Bowler of the Month event, Gothong edged Ed San Jose, 1901-1900.

Gothong made the biggest out put of in the first and eighth frames, downing 246 pins, in the nine game event.

On the other hand, San Jose ended second, but got the Bowler of the Month for February with 1900 points.

Clarence Tiu missed the title and settled third with 1881 pins while the fourth and fifth places went to Bede Illano with 1728 pinfalls and Manny Tiu with 1718 output.

The sixth to tenth placers in the men's division were Boy Co (1689), Bel Suelto (1642), Clark Tiu (1618), Johnson Tan (1596) and Johnny Yap with 1573.
