J&B banked on its fierce opening game behind ex-commercial player Michael Dumdum and Keith Arellano, who dished off assists that allowed three of its teammates to scored double figures each.
J&B seized a commanding lead, 73-57, by the end of the third quarter and protected its lead until the final buzzer to earn its ninth victory.
The trio of Epon Nacua, Jojo Cañete and Ramil Japin poured 15 points apiece, while Arellano and Dumdum posted 11 and 10 points, respectively.
On the other hand, Rowel Sumalinog and Petoy Mata had 25 and 16 points for the losing team.
In the other game, VRJ Engineering logged its sixth win after dumping X-tra Unleaded 82-72.
Ex-PBA Calvin Tuadles led the charge for VRJ with 17 points while it also drew 37 points combined from Daryl Smith, Dodong Smith and Lito Fuentes.
Global Accent Export crawled back from 14-point deficit to overwhelm CEC Batch '60, 90-91, with Alfie Lansang scattering 23 points while Alwen Tabasa and Romeo Faunillan scoring 20 and 10 points.
