Center of Gravity holds rock climbing in Toledo

Sportsclimbing enthusiasts will have their skills tested on real rock climbing when Center of Gravity holds a climbing session this weekend in Toledo City.

The event is a follow up of the successful staging of the Basti's Bolder Bash II.

"We are inviting kids and beginners to a fun-filled day of guided rock climbing and learning about the environment at the magnificent limestone cliffs of Toledo," said Center of Gravity's Ian Sepulveda.

The participants will be climbing at the prime climbing spots in Cantabaco and Pooc, all in Toledo City, to introduce kids and beginners to the extreme sport of rock climbing in a very organized and safe manner.

The climb will be supervised by instructors of the Center of Gravity led by SEA Games gold medalist Jun Vidal while the area will be secured by the City Government of Toledo and the barangay officials where these cliffs are located.

Participants in this TWO sandals, Mulatto apparel, Lacccas Alliance Services corporation-supported event held a pre-climb briefing yesterday at the Center of Gravity.

Interested parties can join the climb at a cost of P350 for kids and P250 for adults, excluding the transportation costs and lunch.
