Cebuano national dirtbiker Jon-jon Adlawan accomplished more than what was expected of him as he won two titles and a second runner-up finish in the kick off leg of the 2006 Camel Motocross Series the other day in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Adlawan, a high school student from Sacred Heart School-Jesuit, ruled the juniors division (85cc class) with ease.
Still having a lot of energy for that day, Adlawan joined two other races, the novice open production and experts production.
Adlawan, the top bet of the Cebu-based PowerSports Racing, succeeded and collected another champion's trophy through the novice open production.
Adlawan got some more respect from other riders after he placed third in the experts production.
After the Talisay action, action shifts to Iloilo on March 5. The venues for the next two legs are still being finalized.
Last year, the organizers wanted to stage one leg here in Cebu, but did not materialize.
