It will be an eight-man team that will make up for the Cebuano roster, while another eight players come from Manila.
National coach Sixto Singson came to Cebu last week to finalize the Cebuano lineup. He just added two new players to replace Samuel Dychangco and Johnson Tan, who already exceeded the age limit of 19 years old.
The members of the lean, but Cebuano squad are Jomar Jumapao, Clarence Tiu, Kimberly Lao, Nikki Tan, Alexis Sy and Rocci Damole.
John Gasataya and James Zuluaga are the new faces in the team, but the two are out to make their presence felt as they have been doing well throughout the training period.
Last year, the Philippines won the gold in all events, silvers in the team and masters event.
Cebuano trainer Huben Tiu said they will change their strategy by putting all of their good players to make up a one strong squad.
"We combine best players into one group kay alkanse ta, other countries do it. Before we separate the good players," said Tiu.
The last time the Philippines won the overall title was in 1999 when it hosted the tournament at the Gaisano Bowlingplex.
