Encorporado tops Sinulog darts

Champion darter William Encorporado got the better off Alvin Villa to notch the Post Sinulog Darts Singles Tournament at the Baseline Restaurant and Recreation Center.

Encorporado, a former Cebu Darts Team stalwart, outgunned seasoned player Villa by defeating the latter twice in the final round.

Villa of Terton Craft, a perennial winner in local tournaments, was sporting a twice-to-beat advantage with a flawless record in the elimination round, but was drubbed by Encorporado, 2-0, 2-0.

Another returnee, Benedict "Dic-dic" Ramirez finished third while Steve Montenegro landed fourth in the tournament which saw 20 players joining.

The champion received P500 plus trophy while the second to fourth players pocketed P300, P200, and P100, respectively.

The tournament was sponsored by Winnie Ocañada, Patrick Young, Allan Veloso, Raul de Guzman and Cebu Darts Association president Dennis Tan.
