Nebria wins 'Tour de Frank' criterium

The kick-off leg of the 4th Luzvimin Racing-RECYCLE Race dubbed as the "Tour de Frank" saw Antonio Nebria leading the action after winning the criterium yesterday morning at the Mandaue City reclamation area.
Nebria outsmarted tournament favorite Robert Villaver.
Nilo Barbalose came in third while Albert Basirgo and Judemar Villarosa occupied the fourth and fifth places, respectively.
On the other hand, Ricky Ermitanio grabbed the first place honors defeating Haylin Bardaje in class B.
Ciano Dignos ended third while Xerox Lauron was fourth and Richard Patalinghug was fifth.
In class C, the top 5 placers were Roy Carbonera, Frank Alindao, Jonathan Simbajon, James Jaca and Jerome Belhida.
Aside from the local riders, there were some visiting pedal-pushers took part, including German Ralf Spaeth, a cyclist who is said to have joined an international cycling race here in the late 80's.
SEA Games bronze medallist, Arland Macasieb, a Vellum-sponsored triathlete also joined.
Action closes today with a road race from Danao to Lugo and back.
