Godwin Kiddies Chess on Jan. 16

Young pawn pushers will face each other in the 2nd Godwin Kiddies Open Chess tournament on January 16 at Bibo Chess Club located at Jakosalem Street.
Open to chess players 14 year-old and below, the five-round tournament will be following the Swiss system format with a 20-minute playing time limit.
The champion in the event will pocket P700 while the second to fifth placers get P500, P300, P200 and P100, respectively.
Certificate of participation will also be given in the event which is sponsored by Weng Gakit, Roy Perales, Frank Navares, Shemberg Seaweeds Division managers and executive committee.
