After an exciting battle in 2005, another season unfolded the other day for RECYCLE's Road Cyclist of the Month Series with Haylin Bardaje emerging victorious in January edition's first leg at the Mandaue City reclamation area.
Bardaje ruled the criterium race to sustain his winning ways after dominating the last leg of December's RCM action.
Bardaje won class B's by outsmarting Xerox Lauron.
December's fastest rider, Ciano Dignos was third, while the fourth and fifth placers were John Rey Jaca and Ian Colina, respectively.
Class A rider also spiced up the kick-off leg with Judemar Villarosa winning the top post.
Albert Basirgo grabbed the second spot, taking advantage of the absence of some top riders who are currently in Antipolo for the two-day elimination of the UCAP Tour and the collision of Leonilo Pagnanawon and Marchel Barcenal.
The third to fifth finishers were Greg Gabato, Jr., Adonis Bohol and Marchel Barcenal.
