In this season of joy, let me lighten at least your day with some little known trivias that I suppose most of us are not aware of. Although some of these may sound ridiculous, all of these are true. Read and enjoy.
1. It is impossible to lick your elbow.
2. The most common name in the world is Mohammed.
3. If not for an added coloring, Coca-Cola was originally green.
4. The names of all the continents end with the same letter that they start with.
5. The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue.
6. When you sneeze, all your bodily functions stop, including your heart.
7. If you sneeze too hard, you can fracture a rib. If you try to suppress a sneeze, you can rupture a blood vessel in your neck or head and die.
8. Wearing headphones for just an hour will increase the bacteria in your ear by 700 times. (Hello, iPod freaks!)
9. The cigarette lighter was invented before the match.
10. A pack-a-day smoker will lose approximately a tooth every five
years.
11. The toothbrush was invented in 1498.
