Casis leads winners in Basti's bouldering event

PAOLO Casis leads the cast of winners in the Basti's Bouldering Competition at Center of Gravity at the Baseline Sports and Recreation Center.
Casis, competing under the boys 15-17 years-old bracket, posted a total of 1,275 points to win the event,
Sheck Caminhim was a far second with 310 points while Jong Chin was third with 175 points.
In the 12-14 class, it was Sebastian Aboitiz, who grabbed the top honors with 800 points, 355 points up ahead of his closest pursuer Hirotaka Tashiro, who had 445 points.
In the distaff side, Nika Miranda got hold of the first place honors with 440 points while his lone opponent Eunice Alonte ended with 208 points.
In the 11-under class, Iani Miranda outsmarted Grant Sekard for the top post while the girls action saw Martina Genco with 195 points.
Justine Joseph and Adriana Aboitiz shared the second place honors with an identical 160 points as Gabrile Raine Baljak would up third with 135 points.
The winners received medals and goodies from TWO, Mulatto and The Center of Gravity Climbing gym.
But more than just winning medals and gift packs, the participants also shared their blessings by bringing some used clothing.
The organizers turned over the used clothing to the barangay officials of Cantabaco, Toledo for the less fortunate kids there.
