Customs badminton starts

Badminton players from the different sectors will vie for honors in the 1st Customs Collectors Cup Badminton Tournament, which fires off 8:30 a.m. today at the Courtyard Badminton Club near SM City Cebu.
The tournament will highlight the men's doubles for levels B, C, D and E, ladies doubles B and C and mixed doubles bracket D and E.
The event will not only be a venue for fellowship of the various organizations and associations of port users but will also benefit the Gawad Kalinga Foundation here in Cebu.
This is a joint project of Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry chaired by Carmel de Pio-Salvador, PISFA, AISL, Cebu Truckers Association Exporters/Importers, PHILEXPORT, OPASCOR, LTO, DTI, Chamber of Customs Bakers Inc., MEPZ Locators, Bankers Association and Bureau of Customs.
The major sponsors include Bigfoot International Academy of Film and Television, Ufreight and Norkis Yamaha.
