The combined efforts of Oliver Sanoy, Cesar Tabar and Inzan Tobes led DAY's assault to post the victory.
In one point of the game, Atillo striked hot, sparking a rally with 27-10 run to close in at 37-40 at the half behind Jimbo Noel and Tin Atillo.
However, DAY maintained its composure and never allowed Atillo to taste the lead.
Sanoy and Tabar chalked up 24 and 20 points, respectively, while Jerry Olmenado and Tobes added 10 markers, apiece.
Noel, on the other hand, top scored for the losing team with 22 points as Dominic Enriquez chipped in 15 points.
In the other game, K-9 whipped VVRA, 68-42.
Former Hapee Toothpaste standout Jessie Peroleno powered K-9 by posting 16 markers while Ryan Dacanaya added 12.
