Hiroshi, Crazy Horse rout foes in Aboitiz footballfest

- Sona Mae V. Povadora -
The Hiroshi Football Club and Crazy Horse once again dumped their respective foes in the 9th Aboitiz Men's League football tournament last Sunday at the San Roque field in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

Hiroshi FC cemented its lead in bracket A with a clean 3-0 win loss slate after mangling Juvio-Magone FC 15-1, while Crazy Horse handed Danao FC another humiliating loss via 12-0 whitewash.

Junard Aguilar initiated Hiroshi's scoring binge by scoring four goals at the 30th, 37th, 68th and 81st, while Harold Buot pulled a hat-trick at 59th, 69th and 77th.

It was Martin Bontia who iced the match at the 9th, before Ariel Cahilig found the back of the net at the 27th.

Voltaire Montebon registered two goals at the 55th and 85th minute, while contributing one goal apiece for Hiroshi FC were former Army Rocky Garciano, Jan Michael Flores, Julius Acre and Peter Martin Dionela.

Eugene Ynclino scored the lone goal for Magone at the 34th.

On the other hand, former national RP team member Joshua Fegidero continued his offensive onslaught for Crazy Horse with five goals including the ice-breaking goal at the sixth.

Fegidero, who scored four goals in their previous match against Rugmo Debra FC, toyed on the shallow defense of Danao FC booters to drill in goals at the 25th, 48th, 58th and 89th.

Jan Michael Abellana pitched in two goals at the 11th and 67th, Excildo Dodos, Mitsuo Tsunakiri, Rannuel Colina and Yamato Ayabe added one goal each.

In the other game, San Roque FC stunned bracket B leader Queen City United FC, 2-1.
