Damole, Dante enter Bowler of the Year final

Runners-up Rocci Damole and Tessie Dante secured a slot for the Bowler of the Year finals after qualifying in the elimination round of the Bowler of the Month of September and October editions, respectively.

Although, it was actually Jennifer Tan who topped the tournament by posting 1,571 pinfalls, the nursing student of Velez College was already a qualifier after topping last February.

Celi Adolfo, on the other hand, who trailed Tan with 1,515 pinfalls also dominated in January while Kim Lao landed third with 1,487 was the champion for the month of April, which automatically earned Damole and Dante the ticket to the battle of the monthly champions in December.

Damole was fourth after the eight-game elimination round with a total of 1,471 pinfalls while Dante trailed Damole.

Other monthly qualifiers were Nikki Tan (March), Marivic Panuncillo (May), Alexis Sy (June), Bette Goyoco (July) and Carol Dacumos (August).
