Miranda grabs CETBA October plum

Ben Miranda seized the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association Bowler for the Month of October diadem at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.

Miranda started out strong in his opening game to end the eight-game series with a total of 1,653 pinfalls.

Eleazar Rubio trailed Miranda as he posted 1,636 pins while William Lao wound up third place with 1,632 pinfalls.

Nestor Longcanaya and Inday De Gracia followed, registering 1,628 and 1,623 pinfalls, respectively, to complete the top five.

Meanwhile, enthusiasts are invited to join the 1st Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office Classic Open Tenpin Bowling Tournament set on November 11-13.

A whooping P15,000 cash prize plus trophy awaits the champion while the first and second finishers will pocket P10,000 and P5,000,respectively. They will also get a trophy.

The perfect scorer or the player who hits 12 consecutive strikes gets an additional prize of P50,000 and in case of a tie, the prize will be divided among the players. - Sona Mae V. Povadora
