Two more events are up for the Cebu Blue Marlins swim team after its successful stint in the 14th IASA Age-Group Swim Meet in Iligan City, said head coach Rolando Alvarez.
Alvarez expressed confidence that his wards, who are mostly under University of Cebu, will make waves in the two events they are set to compete in starting this weekend in the CESAFI swimming competition.
He is banking on his secondary bets to dominate the action in the CESAFI than in the tertiary level.
His tertiary male entry, Andrew Dequina, is not qualified to compete this year as he stopped schooling last semester after being traumatized when he was held up by three unidentified men on his way to class early morning.
Dequina, however, is back and is preparing himself with the rest of the team as they compete in another invitational competition.
After the CESAFI, CBM will go to Dumaguete City for this year's Negros Oriental Cup Swimming Championships on November 4 and 5.
