Mountainbiking is reportedly being replaced with track cycling in the Asian Games next year in Doha, Qatar.
Rodriguez said Qatar has the choice as to what sport events to host and it has scratched mountainbike as they don't have a strong bet and a good venue for it.
"Ever since, as far as the Asian Championships is concerned, wa man gyuy Qatar ni-apil, so wa gyud ni sa ila," Rodriguez said.
In the SEAG, mountainbike, which is set in Danao City on November 28 and 29 will have four gold medals at stake with two in the cross-country and two in the downhill.-Caecent O. No-ot
