Honda, ALD Commercial drub foes in CEBFA caging

Honda Motor World and ALD Commercial dispatched separate rivals to barge into the semifinal round in the 7th CEBFA Basketball tournament at Barangay Pahina Central Gym.

Honda Motor World pulled out 83-78 victory over Sheena Lending Investor while ALD Commercial whipped Cebuana Lhuillier, 83-47.

Rookie John Jabadan and veteran Reggie Licanda paved the way for Honda Motors as they provided the leadership by scoring 18 and 14 points, respectively.

Honda Motors will battle San Remigio Beach Club today while ALD takes on Hyle Bridal Haus in the other semifinal clash at YMCA gym.

On the other hand, ALD dominated the game from start to finish and proved too much to handle to cruise to an easy win.

Joy Olofernes and Anton Inoc churned in game-high 21 points apiece.
