Zosa paces Club Filipino golf

The team skipper by Manuel 'Jun' Zosa, Jr. has set the pace in the 70th Anniversary Tournament of Club Filipino Incorporada de Cebu in Puylangyuta, Danao City.

The squad scored a total of 109 points in the four-to-play, three-to-count format where the score of the club member in the team must be counted.

Zosa made 33 points and had Alex Garcia adding 40 and Bobby Barria made 36. The fourth member of the team is Manuel Go, who scored 32 and did not count.

Three teams are tied at 108 based on the partial results released as of 2 pm yesterday.

Kenneth Dyguani's team made 108 with him shooting 40 points. Also counting for the total were Tony Pineda 38 and either of the 30s scored by Willy Suarez and Wilfred Yap.

Another team tied for second is that of James Tolentino, who made 34 points. His teammates all scored 37 points apiece, but only two of that counted. Tolentino's teammates are Allan Lua, Guido Lubanga, and Nelson Yuvallos.
