Thrilling matches kick off Augustinian Cup 2005

The Augustinian Tournament Cup kicked off last weekend, coinciding with the induction of the new set of officers of the Colegio del Sto. Niño Basketball Association (CSNBA) at San Nicolas Complex.
Guest of honor Cebu City Vice-Mayor Michael Rama delivered the inspirational talk while Councilor Sylvan "Jack" Jakosalem led the induction of officers. It was also attended by Councilor Gerry Carillo. The new officers were CSNBA commissioner-Reynald Macias; CSNBA-president Lowell Albina, VP (Internal)-Ric Monato; VP (External)-Archie Baba; auditor-Edmund Ocado; treasurer-Diosdado Ygot; asst. treasurer-Ricky Cabesas; secretary-Vic Oberes; overall chairman Committee-Russel Rivera.
In the opener, City Hall first drew blood as they prevailed over CSN Loader, 75-73, while CSN Administration survived a hairline victory over Red Justing, 51-50, with Ricky Cabesa and Jay Magno in the frontline, scoring 16 and 14 points, respectively.
