The College of Engineering and Architecture and College of Computer Studies topped in their respective divisions in the Cebu Institute of Technology chess team tournament last Friday.
The future engineers and architect topped in the men's division with a total tally of 15.5 points.
The Commerce department was just 0.5 points behind to run in second place, while Education and Computer Studies posted 11 and 10.5 markers to finish third and fourth, respectively.
On the other hand, the women's team in the Computer studies made up its loss in the men's as they racked 17.5 points to win the tiara.
