CIS teams score twinkill in San Roque football

Cebu International School booters pulled a twinkill in the boys and girls 17-under categories of the 2nd San Roque Football Festival last Sunday at San Roque field in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
The CIS boys beat University of Southern Philippines Foundation, 1-0, while their girls counterpart carved out the same triumph over Sacred Heart School-Jesuit Team B courtesy of Presley Cunnigham.
In the 37-up division, Don Bosco Alumni needed a penalty shootout to topple the equally-tough Queen City United, 3-2.
Dame Sanchez, Dionisio Pacquiao, and Alex Yap all scored in the shootout to vault DB Alumni to victory.
On the other hand, Crazy Horse defeated the University of San Carlos, 1-0, on overtime to bag the men's open crown.
The two-day tournament, sponsored by Wild Cebu Fashion and organized by San Roque Football Club, drew a total of 77 teams.
