The Osaka Iridology and Dunlop-backed Niño and Sally Mae of the University of San Carlos topped the boys and girls 12 and 14-under divisions, respectively.
Niño scored a 6-2, 6-3 thrashing of Pagadian City's Fritz Cris Verdad in the boys 12-under. Afterwards, he blasted out Andre Dizon of Davao City, 6-3, 6-2 in the 14-under finals for his second championship trophy.
Sally Mae, on the other hand, also lived up to her lofty billing by trouncing Kathleen Uy of Cagayan de Oro City, 6-2, 6-0, in the girls 12-under. She spared no mercy to her sister Sallydine, 6-2, 6-3 on the way to wresting the girls 14-under tiara.
The other Cebuano, Kennex Abadia of Naga, failed to exact vengeance against Elsanto Santos of General Santos City in his two final assignments.
Abadia, who lost to Santos in the Davao leg semifinals, still couldn't find his range against the tougher Santos, bowing down to the GenSan racquet-wielder, 3-6, 3-6 in the boys 16-under and 2-6, 3-6 in the 18-under.
