Pipeline, Larimp register contrasting victories

Pipeline Resto Bar routed Nuat Thai Foot and Body Massage, 83-79, while Larimp Network Tech survived a gritty Delta Auto Glass, 85-80, at the start of the crossover match in the Punta Princesa Basketball Association at Pablo S. Atillo Sports Complex in Punta Princesa.
The trio of Cual Rabadon, Reeve Jumawan and dimunutive point-guard Lito Navarro spearheaded Pipeline's assault as they started to control the game in the second half.
Navarro posted 24 points while Jumawan also played superb with 12 points on top of 13 rebounds.
Argel Magan, Ronald Libre and Erik Gaviola combined for 36 points to pace Nuat Thai.
In the opener, Larimp Network put up a pivotal second quarter, 27-5, run behind Lando Tabalin's important assists to Tin Atillo, Jerry Tindoy and Jimmy Carcueva to overhaul a 9-point deficit in the opening period.
Atillo dished out 25 makers while Tindoy and Carcueva added 15 and 12 points, respectively as they hang on tough against a twice-to-beat Delta.
