Batch 1974 climbs to top in CEC Alumni bowling

Batch 1974-Cebu Progress Marketing cruised to the top, relegating Batch 1960-B to third spot after four days of the action in the 6th Cebu Eastern College Alumni Association Bowling Tournament at Gaisano Bowlingplex.

Leo Tecson, Kelly Uy, Ernest Tan and Alex Sy toppled 6,587 pins to take the pole position after placing third in the first three games.

Batch 1974 also registered the highest team of the day with 645 pins to pocket P500 while Leo Tecson and Alex Sy logged the highest single with a total of 233 pins to win additional P300.

Batch 2000 composed of Macmac Tiu, Jr. Ho, Rommel Ceniza and Ryan Go maintained their second position with 6,519 pinfalls.

On the other hand, Batch 1960-B failed to sustain their ground and dropped from the top spot to third with 6,430 pinfalls behind Guia Go, Wilbert Yu and Boy Ngo.

Qualifiers for the masters event were Alfred Dela Cerna (190.08), Ernest Tan (185), Albert Co (183.33), Leo Tecson (183.17), Wilbert Yu (183.08), Edison Ho (178.83), Jose Ho Jr. (175.83), Enriqueto Uy (174.75), Vicente Yu (174.33), Rommel Ceniza (174.17), Jame Tan (170.89), Erwin Ong (170.75), Kelly Uy (170.58), Ryan Oliver Go (170), and Boy Co (169.58).
