But the host team launched a second quarter surge and erected a seven-point cushion, 41-34, at the half before turning its back on PPSA.
Anacleto Bravo drilled 20 points to lead DARUSBA's charge while former PBA forward Calvin Tuadles and Jimmy Dingal chipped in 13 and 12 markers, respectively.
Lito Navarro, on the other hand tallied 21 points for PPSA.
