Pagcor leads winners in SHABA caging

Pagcor 2000 eked past Cebu Del Norte, 73-67, while Gillamac's 97-A preyed on the hapless Batch 2002, 98-52, in the Sacred Heart Alumni Basketball Association (SHABA) at the SHS-J gym.
Dave Ting and Kevin Villamor fill in the absence of Joseph Reoma to put the game tight as Pagcor posted a hairline lead, 30-29, at the half before turning its back on Cebu Del Norte.
Ting scorched the 28 points while Villamor added 17 to carve its fourth victory.
James Edquilla scored a season-high 31 points for the losing team while John Uytengsu added 20 markers.
Defending champion Gillamac's 97-A vaunted a full force defense with Mark Guanzon leading the charge with 16 points.
Man-Tech '97-B pulled out a 55-46 win against Gel Carrier '98 to log its second straight win with Jun Comeros topscoring with 18 points.
In the other games, Worldwide Steel '99 claimed its sixth win to remain unscathed in as many games at the expense Edcon Glass '92, 53-41, while Fighter Wine '90 scored a 81-63 thrashing of Hystu 2005.
Robert Gilo drilled 14 points while Jeremy Huang had 13 points to lead Worlwide while Edcon's Kent Dela Calzada paved the way with 19 points as they dropped to 4-2 win loss card.
Dave Lim hauled 20 points while last year's MVP Chad Canares pitched in 19 markers as Fighter Wine improves to a 5-1 record.
In the other game, White Gold '96 blew away Family KTV 2001, 95-57.
