Gov. Gwen bowling set Oct. 7-9 at Bowlingplex

Top bowlers are set to converge in another highly anticipated event when the Governor Gwen Garcia Philippine-Taiwan Friendship Bowling Open gets underway on October 7-9 at the Gaisano Bowlingplex.

The tournament, which is sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Congress (PBC), will be featuring team event, doubles, singles, all events and masters.

Each team will consist of four players, a combination of male or female bowlers, who will play a four-game series except for the masters event which is set for six games.

Registration fee is P6,000 per team and an additional P600 will be charged to those who will qualify in the masters event.

The champion in the team event will pocket P15,000 while the runners-up will go home with P8,000 and P5,000, respectively.

In the doubles event, the champion will pocket P6,000 and the second and third placers will get 4,000 and P2,000, respectively.

On the other hand, the top three winners in the singles and all events will receive P5,000, P3,000 and P2,000.

The tournament is also held in cooperation with Bowlingplex Tenpin Association and Cebu Inter-Family Youth Association (CIFYA).
