Batch 1960-B climbs to top in CEC bowling

Batch 1960-B is now on top of the heap, relegating erstwhile leader Batch 2000 after the third day of action in the 6th Cebu Eastern Alumni Association Bowling tournament at the Gaisano Bowlingplex.

Guia Go, Wilbert Yu, Vicente Yu and Boy Ngo, who composed Batch 1960-B, burned the lanes to take the pole position, netting 4,900 pinfalls.

Batch 2000, on the other hand, composed of Macmac Tiu, Jr. Ho, Rommel Ceniza and Ryan Go dropped to second spot by registering 4,810 pinfalls.

Batch 1974-Cebu Progress, which is consist of Leo Tecson, Kelly Uy, Ernest Tan and Alex Sy remained at the third spot with 4,799.

Batch 1977, for its part, snagged the highest team output for the day hauling 618 pins to receive P500 purse while Albert Lim of Batch 1977 rolled the highest single with 266.

Wilbert Yu now paced the top 16 masters event qualifiers with 1,686 dropping Enriqueto Uy to the fourth post with 1,641 pinfalls.

Also clinching a spot in the top 16 were Alfred dela Cerna (1,685), Edison Ho (1,658), Albert Co (1,630), Leo Tecson (1,609), Ernest Tan (1,609), Vicente Yu (1,565), Jose Ho, Jr. (1,549), Ryan Oliver Go (1,549), Macmac Tiu (1,547), Erwin Ong (1,532), Guia Go (1,532), Kelly Uy (1,527) and Boy Co (1,506).
