Teams Accord and Adidbreak maintained its clean slate to book quarterfinal seats in their respective divisions in the 10th Adidas Streetball Challenge-Cebu edition at the SM city Cebu parking area.

Accord of Sambag II, which is made up of players from Cebu leg seniors division defending champion University of San Carlos (USC), is skippered by William Lazo.

Accord won all its four assignments yesterday to lead bracket B.

It opened its bid with a masterful, 13-4, carnage over Artillery before handing Bermuda a 15-7 rout in its second assignment.

After a much-needed rest, Accord again stepped up to grab the next two games, first over Backlash, 13-7, and then in the final game via default over Climaz.

Adidbreak, on the other hand, went 4-0 in bracket E to advance. Adibreak powered by team captain Michael Curan led in outclassing the equally gritty Cruiser, which is composed of the University of the Visayas players in a pulsating 13-12 victory, then outsmarted Adistar, 6-4.

It continued with its winning streak by dispatching Brazil, 13-10, and Bolt, 12-11.

The seniors division has the most number of participants as it was divided into eight divisions with four groups each.

University of Southern Philippines Foundation Citron led by Kenneth Dysam will try to maintain an immaculate record and hopes to jump into the next round as they lead bracket A with 3-0 ledger along with Beta of the University of Cebu to also head group C.

Also with a similar 3-0 record were Boston of group F and Atlantic of group H.

In the distaff side, Jessamine delos Reyes is leading Glide for another title as they earn a slot for the cross over semi-finals today.

Glide also with Rachel Singson and Dianne Cañete posted a 2-1 record and share the top spot in group B with Garvite skippered by Fairlette Ceniza also from USC, while group A is led by team Gallor with a 3-0 card.

In the juniors division, Echo of group A along with Eskimo and Evolution of groups C and D, respectively, took the driver's seat, sharing an identical, 3-1, win-loss card.

The midgets division is still on a guessing game, however, Mc Spaghetti sports an immaculate 2-0 record to lead followed Bid Mac with 2-1 card.
