PRO-7 nets P13.7M worth of illegal drugs
CEBU, Philippines — The Police Regional Office in Central Visayas confiscated an estimated P13.7 million worth of illegal drugs in Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City and Bohol Province in the past three days.
The Lapu-Lapu City Police yesterday arrested a female high-value individual who was known only as alyas Marie. She was caught in possession of 1.025 kilos of suspected shabu valued at P6.97 million.
Meanwhile, in Cortes Bohol, the Bohol Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, the Regional Intelligence Unit 7 seized 500 grams of illegal drugs worth P3.4 million.

PRO-7 director, PBGen Anthony Aberin, commended the units for their accomplishment as the operations were a part of security preparations for the upcoming "Kalag-kalag" and other events.
“As the end of the year approaches, we are intensifying our relentless drive against criminality, ensuring the safety of everyone here in Central Visayas. The safety of everyone is our top priority," Aberin added. (FREEMAN)
