P47 million drugs seized in 2-day police ops
CEBU, Philippines — Over P47.1 million worth of drugs was seized by personnel of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-7 during their two-day Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) in different parts of the region last June 3 to 5, 2024.
In their operation against illegal drugs, 6,926.53 grams of shabu or P47.1 million worth of drugs were confiscated and 117 individuals were arrested.
PRO-7 also conducted 54 operations against illegal gambling.
This resulted in the arrest of 109 people and the confiscation of more than P9,000 in bet money.
For loose firearms, PRO-7 conducted 88 operations where 86 firearms were confiscated and surrendered, along with two explosives and eight people arrested.
PRO-7 also arrested 93 people, 3 of them were most wanted and 90 were other wanted persons. – ATO (CEBU NEWS)
