Rep. Lagon opens office in Cordova

CEBU, Philippines — Cebu Sixth District Representative Daphne Lagon recently led the blessing and inauguration of her district office at the second floor of Cordova’s Municipal Hall in order to bring their various services closer to her constituents.

Lagon kicked off the opening of her office by immediately giving various financial assistance a day after its inauguration on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

“We believe in going the extra mile to serve you better with the inauguration of Cong Daphne Lagon Serbisyong Lagon Aksyon Dayon new district office,” said Lagon in her Facebook post.

The district office is open from Monday to Friday at 8am to 5pm giving assistance, such as burial, medical, and other services.

Cordova Mayor Cesar Suan was elated with the latest development as more of his constituents too will receive more assistance, not just from the municipal government but also from the said congressional office.

Those who attended the event include Ako Bisaya Partylist Representative Sonny Lagon, Cebu First District Representative Rhea Gullas, Mayor Suan, Consolacion Mayor Teresa Alegado, Cordova barangay officials and other officials from Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway and government agencies.

Meanwhile, Lagon also congratulated 489 graduating students of Consolacion who received P4,000 each from Lagon’s educational assistance.

According to Lagon, the selected graduating students of Cordova will also receive the same assistance on May 17, 2024.

“Kahibaw ko na ting labad ron sa ulo sa mga ginikanan kay basta graduating daghan amotan ug uban pang kinahanglan. Isip usa ka anak sa una na naka experience pod og kalisod sa kinabuhi duol gyud sa akung kasingkasing ang mga estudyante. Karon na grasyahan man ko sa Ginoo, ako pod ni e-share ninyo,” the congresswoman said. — (FREEMAN)
